Students exceeded their targets in their GCSE and IGCSE examinations, with 66% of students’ grades between A* and A, 86% between A* and B and 96% between A* and C. These achievements are an increase on last year’s results which were 55%, 83% and 95% respectively and are significantly above the national average in the United Kingdom.

Paul Keach, Headteacher, said; “I am absolutely delighted that our Year 11 students have achieved such fantastic (I)GCSE examination results. Our students have worked extremely hard and should be very proud that they have been awarded the best grades in our school’s history.”

Dean Moore, Head of Secondary School and Upper Campus, said; “We are extremely proud of our students’ success in their GCSE examinations. This year, 96% of our students received GCSEs between A* and C, including English and Maths. This figure would place us in the top 100 schools in the UK. Additionally, 66% of GCSE grades were either A* or A, and with an average points score of 51.48 per student, means that the most likely GCSE grade for a student at The International School of Moscow is Grade A.”
Adding his congratulations, Ian Storey, Secondary School Deputy Head – Academic, said; “I am delighted that the hard work and determination of our students and staff have culminated in such a wonderful set of examination results at GCSE and IGCSE level. Many of our students surpassed their target grades which is further testament to their drive to be the very best they can be.”
